Fondest Farewell

As many of you are aware Mrs Ann Edwards has now left her position after many happy years working at Ysgol Bro Cynllaith! We miss her already but wish her all the very best in her new endeavours. Don’t worry, we now have a new Mrs Edwards, (Lesley) to take over the baton. I would like to thank Ann and Lesley for helping to ensure that this transition has been as painless as possible!

Impact Schools

Darren Mayor came into school on the last day before half term. The theme for his assembly this time was to ‘try your best’ and ‘not give up’.

Cycling Proficiency

Pupils in Year 6 all successfully completed their cycling proficiency training on Wednesday 8th November. Luckily the weather was kind and they did so well that they completed it in one morning! Da iawn chi.

Severn Trent

Mrs Claire Dare came into school on Friday 10th November to give an assembly on saving water. She also held a water workshop with members of the school council.

New pupils

We welcome four new pupils to the school this week – they have come all the way from New Zealand!

Zander, Jude, Finn and Tom are all brothers and will be staying with us for a short while. We wish the whole family a very warm welcome to the area.

The new date for this event is Tuesday 21st November from 12-2.30pm (weather permitting). Pupils will need a packed lunch & drinks and will be accompanied by Mrs Evans and Mrs Morris.
