Bronze Ambassadors
We were delighted to host the Bronze Ambassador training here again on Friday 15th September. Pupils in Years 5 & 6, from our cluster of schools, came together to train to be ambassadors in Sports. Annabel Quance and Ben Jones are our newest recruits – Da iawn chi.
Table Tennis
Mr Pat Lovell is holding table tennis coaching sessions on some Tuesdays this term. The remaining dates are as follows; 10th, 17th and 24th October (3.15-4.15pm)
COBRA Tag Rugby
Pupils in Years 4, 5 & 6 took part in the annual Tag Rugby festival at Meifod on Wednesday 13th September. They had a fantastic day and were kept very busy – well done to you all.
Lifeline
Pupils in Year 5 went to this very worthwhile event at Park Hall on Tuesday 19th September. They were met with a range of different scenarios to think very carefully about. Well done to our team, who were the only team to actually close the gate after themselves in the farming and countryside area – great thinking Ben! Thank you to Mrs Morris for accompanying them.
Tin Can appeal continues…
We haven’t had many more cans since we returned to school, so we would ask that if you can, then please continue to send in any clean, label free cans for the Queen’s bust.
Piano Workshop
Patrick Gough held a wonderful workshop on Friday 22nd September to show the pupils the delights of learning how to play the piano. Thank you to Lucas and Rosa for demonstrating what can be achieved and to Ben and Paul for volunteering to have a go! A letter has been sent out by Patrick if anyone is interested in having lessons.
