Welcome back to the Summer Term/Croeso’n ol i Tymor yr Haf

Llangrannog

Pupils from Years 5 & 6 went on their Welsh 2nd language residential trip to Llangrannog from Wed 29thto Fri 31st March. It was a wonderful opportunity for them all to try out new activities and meet new friends – even though it wasn’t very dry! A massive thankyou once again to Mrs Evans and Mr Lewis for accompanying them.

Swimming gala

Ben attended the next round of the Wasps swimming gala at The Flash, Welshpool on Thursday 6th April. He swam extremely well against some tough opposition – da iawn ti Ben! Unfortunately even though Lillie qualified she wasn’t able to attend due to illness. Better luck next time Lillie!

Impact schools

Darren Mayor came in to school on Thursday 6th April to deliver a wonderful Easter assembly.

Table tennis success

Paul Sissons from Year 5 attended the Oswestry District Junior Table Tennis Championships on Wednesday 5th April. He has only been attending the Table tennis club on Tuesday evenings, in the village hall for a term! Paul won the under 12 category and reached the final of the doubles with his partner and narrowly lost in the three closely fought sets. Well done Paul, bendigedig!

PTFA Easter Bingo

The PTFA held an Easter Bingo on the evening of Thursday 6th April. Thank you to everyone who helped and donated Easter eggs and items for the raffle – it was a great success and raised a wonderful £229.
