Between 11 and 14 July 2023 Bedwyr Fychan, the Chair of the Maldwyn 2024 Eisteddfod Working Group, and a few others will be cycling around the Montgomeryshire primary schools as part of the proclamation activities, raising awareness of the Eisteddfod, and taking Mr Urdd around the schools.
At 9am this Friday they will be starting from outside Ysgol Bro Cynlliath. All the pupils will be outside to support them and meet Mr Urdd!
Also in Newtown on July 15th the Proclamation parade will be taking place to welcome the Urdd Montgomery Eisteddfod 2024 to the area.
- 10.30 – Gather at the Park, Newtown – 1 New Church Street, Newtown SY16 1ST (behind Oriel Davies)
- 11.00 – Procession through the street
- 12:00 – Everyone back to the Park
- 12:00 – 3:00 Fun activities, entertainment, stalls etc
