New pupils

We are very excited to welcome three new families to the area. A total of 7 pupils started school this term –

Bronwyn North and Morgan Williams have joined Year 5,

Francis North and Paul Sissons in Year 4,

Hester and Leonard North (twins) in Year 2 and

Kiri Williams in Year 1

They have all settled in really well and have swelled our pupil numbers to 43!

Netball

The school netball team attended The Flash, Welshpool on Wednesday 6th April to play in the WASPS finals. They played extremely well and were commended on their much improved netballing skills. Thank you to Mrs Evans and Mrs Bronwen Morris for transporting them.

Summer Musical

We are very excited to announce that the school will be performing an adaptation of the musical ‘Matilda’ in July. There will be an afternoon, as well as an evening performance. Date to be confirmed. Auditions for the main characters took place this week.

Enterprising pupils

During the Easter holidays Elin, Ffion, Bethan, Poppy, Daniel, Annabel and Miles came up with the innovative idea to collect morning sticks from the surrounding woodland and sell them at the roadside to passing motorists for £1 per bundle. They managed to raise over £17, to go towards equipment for the school playground.

Da iawn chi.

Powys Eisteddfod
