Dear Parents,
As part of Deaf Awareness week the children have been learning about British Sign Language today.
They have been amazing, really enthusiastic and picked it up very quickly. Most of the pupils know how to sign their first names already!
We would love it if they could keep practising over the weekend and perhaps teach other members of the family or learn some more words or phrases to show us next week.
They have all been sent home with an alphabet sheet to help them.
